All the MCU announcements from D23

There have been a lot of announcements at D23 about the future projects from the MCU. A lot of the info was exclusive to the D23 but we did a fair share of trailers and news for the MCU.

Secret Invasion

This was the main headline to come out of the MCU showcase. Secret Invasion is an upcoming American television miniseries created by Kyle Bradstreet. Staring Nick Fury it follows him trying to figure out the Skrulls and their infiltration into humans.

This looks fun. The series seems like a follow up to Captain America Movies in tone. Secret Invasion is scheduled to premiere in early 2023, and will consist of six episodes.

Werewolf by Night

MCU Speical

Werewolf by Night is gonna be a Halloween special based and is scheduled to be released Disney+on October 7th. The project has Michael Giacchino directing. This looks insane and like a homage to the old universal monster movies. It looks very distinct from the MCU. so it will be fun to see how it works. I personally prefer to see these small one off projects in the MCU (like the She-Hulk Series) rather than a huge story again. So i am more that ready for it.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Ryan Coogler, the director of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever brought footage from the film. The film is due out in theaters Nov. 11. The footage seemingly showcased the power of the Dora Milaje. And set the stage for an epic fight against Namor and the Atlanteans. This movie is going to be end of Phase 4 of the MCU and will be interesting to see.

Ironheart

Marvel also shared a peek at the “Ironheart” Disney+ series, which is still in production. There isn’t much is shown to the public so there is lot oto wait and see. Ironheart is supposed to pick up after Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Armour Wars

It’s been announced that Don Cheadle will star is Marvel Studios’ Armor Wars, a Disney Plus series.

Loki Season 2

Loki is getting an another season and i am interested to see where it goes. It is the best MCU show till now in my Opinion.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the first film in phase 5 of the MCU and has Kang the next major villain for the MCU. Footange seemingly showed Footage shows the Lang, Van Dyne and Pym families being pulled into the quantum realm and meeting Kang.

Echo and Daredevil: Born Again

Echo is a new Disney+ show that centers on a deaf female heroine. This follows Echo after we met her in the Hawkeye show. This is to be followed by Daredevil: Born Again both staring Vincent D’onofrio as the Kingpin. Along with the fan favorite Charlie Cox to star in it. I am the most excited for these.

Captain America: New World Order

Captain America: New World Order is gonna be a sequel to Falcon & The Winter Soldier. There are reports that Danny Ramirez will be back as the new Falcon and that Carl Lumbly will reprise the role of Isaiah Bradley.

Thunderbolts

Feige announced the team that will be part of “Thunderbolts.” This includes Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Olga Kurylenko as Task Master, Wyatt Russel as John Walker aka U.S. Agent, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova and Sebastian Stan as the Winter Soldier.

The Marvels

The show was closed out with the Announcement of “The Marvels” This seemingly was fun so cannot wait to see it.

The fantastic Four

Matt Shakman is to direct Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four. It will be in theaters November 8, 2024.

All these seem to funa nd interesting announcements. It would have been better if these were released to the public too but lets wait and see how it pans out.
