Additional details and the official date for Summer Game Fest have been revealed. Geoff Keighley, founder of The Game Awards, announced via his Twitter account that this year’s Summer Game Fest will take place between the 9th-12th of June. The highly anticipated game event is slated to begin at 11 AM PT/ 2 PM ET/ 6 PM GMT. In addition to being broadcast on digital platforms such as YouTube and Twitch, Geoff stated that Summer Game Fest will also be shown in IMAX theaters to provide a realistic experience. Given that E3 and ESA have been canceled, Summer Game Fest will try to live up to the hype with new world premiers, announcements, trailers, and reveals.

Elden Ring was first shown in last year’s Summer Game Fest, so players can expect to hear breathtaking announcements from developers. Activision, Ubisoft, Square Enix, SEGA, and over 20 developers will be partners of Summer Game Fest, so it is quite possible that the first gameplay footage from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will be shown in the event. There also may be fresh news on the Final Fantasy series. Square Enix can be expected to release DLC for its popular RPG series, or Ubisoft may reveal that a new Far Cry game is on its way. It would not surprise us if Blizzard, Electronic Arts, and Capcom scatter something about their stylish titles.

Summer Game Fest 2022 will be completed in four days. On the first day of the event, many announcements and game reveals will pour down on us like rain in a showcase hosted by Geoff Keighley. Tribeca Interactive, developer of A Plague Tale: Requiem, will be with the community throughout the second day with their presentation. Day of the Devs event, which promises new announcements from the indie game world, will be held on May 11. Lastly, Xbox and Bethesda showcase will start on the closing day of Summer Game Fest.

Set up your calendar and take your place at Summer Game Fest, which is set to begin on June 9. To keep yourself up to date, you can follow the founder of the event, Geoff Keighley, on Twitter, or you can leave a bookmark on Summer Game Fest’s official website.
