Fans can have a good sleep tonight

God of War Ragnarok was first announced two years ago for a release in 2021. Then Santa Monica Studio had to delay the game until 2022 to ensure the safety and well-being of their development team. Rumors were circulating that the game might have delayed to the next year. Despite that, several workers at Santa Monica reiterated that God of War Ragnarok is still targeting a release in 2022. As officially confirmed by Sony, God of War Ragnarok will not get one more delay to descend exclusively on Playstation consoles.

God of War Ragnarok is a sequel to the previous game, which was released back in 2018. The story will begin after Kratos’ endgame encounter with Thor. However, their enemies will not be limited to the son of Odin. Freya will be back to avenge his son, Baldur, who was slaughtered by Kratos.

Fans can finally get their hand on Kratos and his rookie son, Atreus, to slay a wide array of monsters, mythological creatures, and bloodthirsty enemies. You can find the new screenshots and cinematic trailer below. Have fun!
