Publisher 2K has announced during the Summer Game Fest event that Marvel’s Midnight Suns will release on October 7 for Xbox One, Xbox Series S-X, PS4, PS5, and PC platforms. The company has also stated the Switch version of the game will be available at a later date. We finally got a confirmed release date for one of the most anticipated games of the year after much speculations about the development process of Marvel’s Midnight Suns, which was first revealed in August 2021.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a tactical RPG, turn-based action game in which you will be able to create your team with Marvel heroes to fight against super villains. Each character will have a unique skill set that can be used in long, arduous battles. The game will also feature characters from X-Men and Runaways. Players will take on the role of “The Hunter” and they will team up with superheroes including Ghost Rider, Wolverine, Magik, Doctor Strange, Blade, and Nico Minoru. Your main task will be to stop Lilith, Mother of Demons.

The upcoming adventure game will have four different editions. The legendary edition of Marvel’s Midnight Suns will feature 23 premium hero skins alongside four post-launch DLC packs. If you want to pre-order Marvel’s Midnight Suns, you can head to the game’s official website.

Summer Game Fest delivered new announcements, trailers, and details about the games we have been waiting for months. A brand new trailer for Marvel’s Midnight Suns was also revealed at the event. The game is being developed by Firaxis Studios, which is well known for XCOM games, with the help of Virtuos. Jake Solomon, Executive Chief of Fraxis, stated in November via social media that the game had been delayed to the second half of 2022. According to Jake, the developer team needed more time to polish the game to offer the best possible experience. After months of longing, Marvel fans got the good news that the upcoming title will come out on October 7.
