| | , ,

Riot Games officially announced that the 2022 MSI tournament, which will take place between 10-29 May, will be held in South Korea. The decision came after some rumors surfaced a couple of days ago that Riot would host the MSI 2022 in Busan, South Korea. All the League of Legends community are happy with the decision as Esports will return its home.

Riot Games hosted its latest big three tournaments, the MSI 2021, the 2021 World Championship, and the VCT Masters, in Iceland, Reykjavik. Also, Riot revealed last week that the Valorant Champions Tour 2022: Stage 1 Masters, which will take place between 10-24 April, will be held in Reykjavik. The community has now requested a change, and Riot heard their voices. South Korea and Riot Games are not strangers to each other. The 2014 and 2018 World Championships were held in Korea’s different cities, like Seoul, Incheon, and Gwangju.
