Sony has revealed a bunch of games coming to its newly activated subscription service PlayStation Plus. The announced catalog and classic titles will be available for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers starting next week.
Sony’s renewed subscription service offers not only a plethora of games released in recent years but also brings the classic titles to life. PS fans have always desired to play the old games on their current hardware. However, they could only play games with backward compatibility until this year. With this in mind, Sony changed its business model to be a contender against Game Pass. Newly designed subscription models for PlayStation Plus, featuring many of the classic games on its library, were welcomed by players.
PlayStation Plus has been expanding its library with new additions every month. Besides two classic titles, No Heroes Allowed and LocoRoco Midnight Carnival, five Assasins Creed games, including Unity and Blackflag, will be available in the coming days. Also, Stray, Marvel’s Avengers, and Final Fantasy VII Remake will descend on the subscription service on June 19. Last and not least, the acclaimed action-adventure games developed by Volition, Saints Row IV: Re-Elected, and Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell will make their way to the PS Plus library.
PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup for July includes:
- Stray
- Marvel’s Avengers
- Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade
- Assassin’s Creed Unity
- Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag
- Ice Age: Scrat’s Nutty Adventure
- Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered
- Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry
- Jumanji The Video Game
- Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection
- Saints Row IV: Re-Elected
- Saints Row Gat out of Hell
- Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition
- Paw Patrol on a Roll!
- ReadySet Heroes
- No Heroes Allowed! — PSP
- LocoRoco Midnight Carnival — PSP
One game you may want to take a look at is Stray, an indie adventure game in which players will solve complicated puzzles and roam around its cyberpunk-like world controlled by robots as a cat. The game will have a unique art style and dark theme venues, including obstacles and platforms, which will help you to reach somewhere. Also, you will not be alone on your journey, as a friendly drone will accompany you to follow the story.
This month’s PS Plus additions include different kinds of worth-playing games. If you want to jump into the FF franchise, you can start with the FFVII Remake. Or get your hands on Saints Row games to meet your action need. You can also try out the fast-paced dungeon crawler ReadySet Heroes. Check out our PlayStation section to find more about PS games.
