Valorant Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters – Copenhagen is now on the horizon, with the best teams worldwide getting their tickets to Denmark to establish themselves as the new king. Teams went through a difficult way in the elimination stage to clinch their spot at Masters Copenhagen. Fans will finally watch these teams square off each other, making predictions on who will be the best in the Valorant competitive scene. Here are all the details you need to know about VCT Masters Copenhagen, including schedule, groups, teams, prize pool, and format.

Format

Eight teams will be divided into two groups of four each. Group stage teams will compete in a double-elimination bracket, meaning they will have a chance in the lower bracket to make up for their losses. Top two teams from each group proceed to the playoffs. All matches will be bo3 in the group stage.

Top-seeded and qualified teams will be matched in the first round of the playoff stage. As we see in the groups, playoffs will be played in a double-elimination bracket. All matches scheduled in the playoffs will be bo3, while the lower bracket finals and grand finals will be bo5.

Prize Pool

Riot Games has yet to announce how much prize pool VCT Masters – Copenhagen will have to distribute among the participants. However, it can be expected to be at the same level as Stage 1 Masters – Reykjavik, which was around $675.000.

Schedule

VCT Masters – Copenhagen will take place between July 10 to 24. The full schedule for the tournament has yet to reveal at the time of writing. However, Riot Games released the schedule for the first four matches of the group stage. DRX will take on Northeption to start group B with an intimidating victory, while LOUD will go up against KRÜ Esports in group A.

Teams

Twelve teams across the regions secured their spot at Masters Copenhagen to make a statement to the whole world. Four of these teams will participate in the tournament as top-seeded thanks to their phenomenal performance on Challengers. Top-seeded teams include Fnatic, XSET, Paper Rex, and Leviatan. They will kick off their run from the playoff stage, while the rest of the teams will have to be successful in the groups to make it to the second phase.
