Nintendo has released a brand new 20-minute gameplay video for its highly anticipated role-playing game, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, featuring additional details on the story, combat system, character classes, and enemies that players will encounter in its fantastic world. What else was shown during the presentation was a paid expansion pass which includes four waves of new content, which will be added to the game from its launch day until the end of the year. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will release on June 29 for Switch.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3, developed by Monolith Soft, the studio behind the previous installments of the acclaimed series, is an action role-playing game in which players will embark on a new adventure with a group of six characters from two opposing nations, Keves and Agnus. According to the story, which will take place in the far future, these two nations will join the forces to stand against the violence that corrupts its rich world named Aionios.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will offer a stylish combat experience

Players will be able to command a group of six characters that will learn powerful abilities to make combat more stylish. Moreover, just like in Final Fantasy VII Remake, players will control every single character on their team to use their unique skills. That option will diversify the combat experience, preventing players from getting bored with the game. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will aim to offer an entertaining real-time battle experience, taking you to undiscovered lands in its vast world.

Each character on your team will have a class that defines how you should play with them. To build up a well-coordinated team, you must pick your class wisely. As an intriguing feature of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, there is an “Interlink System” that allows two players to combine their bodies to transform into an upgraded form named Ouroboros.

Nintendo and Monolith Soft are gearing up to release the game with its best possible version. The upcoming ARPG was initially scheduled to come out in September. However, Nintendo shifted it to an earlier release date of July 29. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will be exclusive to Nintendo and will have 9 language support, including English, French, Spanish, and German. The digital version of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is available for $59.99 on the Nintendo store.
