Our MSI 2022 outlook series will be completed today with the Oceanian representative, who secured their spot after defeating Chiefs in the LCO 2022 Split 1 Playoff, ORDER. Probably you have not heard of them before because ORDER will represent the LCO on an international stage for the first time in the organization’s history. Although it is unlikely that they will make it out of the first stage, ORDER can change the course of their group by stealing matches from Major region representatives, G2, and Evil Geniuses.
League Championship Oceania (LCO) sent two different teams to the international tournaments to represent their region. Pentanet.GG grabbed two wins against the CIS team Unicorns of Love in the MSI 2021, while PEACE competed on the play-in stage to make their way to the 2021 World Championship. ORDER will be the third among them to show off Oceania’s power as a Wild Card team. Fans do not expect ORDER to qualify for the rumbling stage, and it will give the Australia-based team the comfort and flexibility that they will need against the opponents.
ORDER’s starting lineup includes Kevy, Kisee, Puma, Corporal, and BioPanther, who we watched in the MSI 2021 with PentanetGG. Puma, 20, joined the team in 2021, and since then, he has been serving the team as hyper carry. ORDER trust his ability to carry his team in the late stages of the game, and their game plan allows him to take all resources he needs to rule over the match. His bot lane partner is an import from Japan, Corporal. The harmony between Puma and him brought ORDER to the championship. They will be targeted by EG and G2 to crash ORDER’s strategy.
ORDER overcame PEACE and Pentanet.GG in the lower bracket
LCO 2022 Split 1 was arduous for ORDER as the team finished the regular season in fourth place and started their playoff run from the lower bracket. After taking down Dire Wolves 3-0 in the first round, ORDER surprisingly vanquished PEACE and PENTANETGG without giving a match. ORDER’s undefeated lower bracket run ended with a title thanks to their outstanding performance in an intense five-game grand final series against Chiefs. With this phenomenal result, ORDER qualified for the MSI tournament for the first time.
ORDER will battle it out against G2 Esports and Evil Geniuses in group C. If ORDER advance to the rumbling stage, it would be one of the most surprising results ever seen in international tournaments. They will need a miracle to make it happen. As of now, ORDER is only expected to steal at least one game from these two juggernauts. MSI 2022 is set to begin tomorrow with Saigon Buffalo vs. T1 matchup in group A
