FaZe Clan announced new Valorant Roster

| | , ,

FaZe Clan introduced its new Valorant roster, which will compete in the VCT: North American Stage 2 Challengers. Former Rise players and coaching staff, Phat “supamen” Le, Kevin “poised” Ngo, and Addison “zeck” Gorzek signed with FaZe Clan, while Jake “POACH” Brumleve from Built By Gamers joined the team to compete on the starting roster. FaZe Clan has now seven active players in its hands, so they will have to choose between them to determine the main roster.

FaZe Clan’s active squad also includes Andraj “babybay” Francisty, Christopher “LarryBanks” Doi, Xavier “flyuh” Carlson, and former 100 Thieves substitution Quan “Dicey” Tran. Rumors have been swirling around in recent months that the organization has reached an agreement to buy the Rise roster. Given that FaZe Clan acquired “poised” and “supamen” from Rise, they are going to make their debut on VCT NA Stage 2 Challengers, which is set to begin on April 29. POACH can also be expected to be on the stage while “babybay” will lead his team in macro decisions as a veteran player on the roster.

FaZe will compete in the VCT 2022 NA Open Qualifiers #1

The US-based organization had a rough start to the year. They even could not qualify for the VCT 2022: NA Stage 1 Challengers – Open Qualifiers, where Rise dominated Built By Gamers in the finals. FaZe Clan wants to turn things around with this newly designed roster. Their primary aim will be to participate in the upcoming international tournament as the North American representative.

FaZe Clan lastly took part in Knights Gauntlet Circuit Monthly and completed the tournament in third place after getting slapped by TSM in the semifinals. Valorant Champions Tour NA Open Qualifiers, where more than a hundred teams will participate, will begin on Friday, April 29. Top four teams from qualifiers will advance to the main event. They then will have to beat the best North American teams, The Guard, OpTic Gaming, Cloud9, and XSET, to make their way to the playoffs.
