It’s been announced that the upcoming Halo Infinite has been delayed until 2021. The news came in the form of a blog post on Halo Waypoint.
343 Industries stated in their blog “Today I want to share an important Halo Infinite development update with the community. We have made the difficult decision to shift our release to 2021 to ensure the team has adequate time to deliver a Halo game experience that meets our vision“.
Halo Infinite was originally set to release alongside the Xbox Series X, but this will no longer be the case. The release of the new console will not be affected by this delay.
Speaking of the Xbox Series X, Microsoft has said that the new console will be with us in November on a news update posted to Xbox Wire.
