Free-To-Play Shooter ALARA Prime Announced

| | , ,

Fall Damage has revealed a new free-to-play tactical shooter game called ALARA Prime for PC via Steam. An exact release date has yet to be announced, however; it is planned to launch in 2023, according to publisher Level Infinite. The announcement came from nowhere, so we do not have a lot of details to mention at this stage. Being developed by Fall Damage, the Swedish studio created by industry veterans, ALARA Prime may provide an uplifting experience you have been looking for in recent times.

Players can now register for the pre-alpha technical test, which will run for three days, on its official website. Unfortunately, the pre-alpha test is only available for players located in Europe. You will have to wait for the dev team to expand it to the other regions. The playtest will take place between June 15 and 17, and players are expected give feedback to speed up the development process.

Choose your class and define a unique playstyle

ALARA Prime is a first-person, 4v4v4 shooter game in which tactical elements will be emphasized to make the game more creative. It will not be only a pure action and combat-focused, as it features classes, gadgets, and tactics that bring you many advantages. Players will have to make strategies to get themselves out of bad situations. ALARA Prime will have a transmission mode, where three teams of four players will square off each other to take control of an Uplink. As we are used to seeing from Overwatch and Paladins, one side defends their objective while the other side tries to capture it.

Players can choose among four classes to define their playstyle. Assault, Engineer, Support, and Infiltrator will have different capabilities that will require you to use them in the best possible way. There are also a wide array of weapons, letting you take down your enemies from various distances. Players can also use gadgets to gain time in combat or make their strategies more effective. Grenades, drones, and traps will be available to make it easier to barrage the opponent.

Developer Fall Damage revealed the official system requirements, which you can find below. Players will at least need AMD Ryzen 7 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 to run the game.
