THQ Nordic has announced that its new hunting game, called Way of the Hunter, will come out on August 16 for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam, Epic Games, and GOG. Being developed by Nine Rocks Games, a small talented team based in Slovakia, Way of the Hunter will hit the next generation consoles this summer to provide the most realistic hunting experience possible.
You can now pre-order the standard edition of the game, which will give you away Hunter’s Pack at launch, for $39.99 on PC and consoles. This Hunter’s Pack features the engraved shotgun, a special car paint, and a wooden carved animal statue. Also, the elite version of the game is available for pre-order at $54.99. When you purchase the elite version, you will receive a season pass that contains two new downloadable enviroments at launch. If you want to discover as many locations as you can, consider buying the elite version. You can also head to the game’s official Steam page to learn all the details about the pre-order offerings.
Enjoy hunting in fertile land
Way of the Hunter is an open-world, realistic-animal hunting game set in the lands of the USA and Europe. According to the developer team, the game will feature a bevy of animal species you can hunt while roaming around the map. Players will also be able to go hunting with their friends in coop mode.
Its admirable world will immerse you in to make your experience even more entertaining. Even if sometimes you will have to travel long distances to find prey to your liking, it won’t bore you because you will probably encounter different animals on your way.
Animals running or roaming around will not be a cakewalk for you. Thanks to their advanced AI, animals will have sensitive reactions and natural behaviors to make the game realistic. As you can expect from a hunting game, you will finally be able to hunt once you have figured out its mechanics.
Way of the Hunter will release on August 9 and is set to offer an enjoyable experience in summer evenings. You can find the announcement trailer shared by publisher THQ Nordic below.
