Bethesda has announced that its highly anticipated RPG, Starfield, and open-world FPS, Redfall, have been delayed until the first half of 2023. The company explained the main reason behind the decision was that the team at Arkane Austin, developer of Redfall, and Bethesda Game Studios, needed more time to polish the games and deliver the best experience to the community. Redfall was expected to release this summer, while Starfield was set to launch on PC and Xbox on November 11.
Starfield and Redfall joined the list of delayed games
Bethesda also stated that they will share the first gameplay trailer for Starfield and Redfall soon. Players can expect the developer to give additional information about the games in the Xbox&Bethesda showcase, which is scheduled to begin on June 9 at 10 am PT / 12 pm CT. Only a few screenshots and details about its immersive story for Starfield have been leaked so far. In this context, if you do not want to miss anything about the game, you can follow the Summer Games Fest, which will feature a Xbox showcase.
It is frustrating when a game that you have wanted to experience for a long time gets delayed. However, players should be patient because game development is a complicated process and there may be external factors affecting the developers. It is better to wait a little longer to play the game in its best and most polished version instead of complaining about its uncompleted version.
Starfield is expected to be one of the best games of 2022. It is a role-playing game set in an enormous solar system, and the story will take place after years of colony war. Starfield will deliver a true RPG experience similar to Skyrim with its massive open world and wide variety. Players will be able to shape their character as they desire, and an arduous journey full of obstacles will take them to the next generation of space adventure.
Redfall is a first-person shooter game that was originally set to come out in the summer. Redfall features both single-player and multiplayer modes to offer the action in different ways. Players will be able to team up with up to three users to slay vampires. Each player will have unique skills, and they will be able to battle it out against humans.
