ARAM Tier List LoL 2022

| | , , , ,

In our previous publication focused on the best choices for you to climb up the leagues, the question of why X champion is suitable for the solo queue was answered through the tier list categorized for each different role. The top category of the tier list was ‘’God Tier’’, which shows the best champions to select on the pick-ban screen. Then the other two categories, ‘’Strong Choices’’ and ‘’Common Choices’’ followed up ‘’God Tier’’ to expand players’ views on some champions that are not popular in ranked games.

In this tier list, we will take a quick look at which champions should be considered in team compositions while playing ARAM. Considering its small size compared to Summoners Rift, the tier list below may be unusual as ARAM requires different mechanics.

When to play ARAM?

You have limited time to play in Summoner’s Rift, but at the same time you want to taste the competition, so ARAM is definitely a map created for you. Its small and strict design allows both teams to get into fights more often than usual. You have nothing to do with neutral objectives, macro game, or lane phase. There is only carnage in ARAM. Skill shots are the most important factor to change the game in your favor, and that’s what makes playing ARAM more fun.

One of the unique features of ARAM compared to the other maps is you can’t intentionally select a champion you want. All champions in the game are randomly distributed to players no matter what their current leagues or levels. You have one or two re-roll to replace the champion that fell to you from the bag, and you receive one re-roll for every two games you played. So you are not left to your fate. You can roll the dice again if you don’t enjoy playing with X champion on your screen. Here are all the champions you can use while playing ARAM.

ARAM Tier List — Patch 12.4

God Tier: Jhin, Caitlyn, Ashe, Jinx, Miss Fortune, Lux, Senna, Ezreal, Morgana

Strong: Ahri, Blitzcrank, Sivir, Velkoz, Graves, Jayce, Xayah, Ziggs, Karma

Common: Cho’Gath, Malphite, Katarina, Lee Sin, Renata, Karthus, Zeri, Sona, Viktor

You better re-roll: Aaatrox, Akali, Lissandra, Alistar, Gwen, Braum, Kassadin, Ryze, Zoe

Away from keyboard: Akshan, Fiora, Shyvana, Kayn, Wukong, Hecarim, Rakan, Rell, Garen

Jhin

Jhin deserves to be on top of the Tier list with his long-range abilities that can deal noticeable damage to the enemy. For ARAM, dealing with your all damage without closing the opposite team is more important than the other things. Jhin can do it with both his Curtain Call and Deadly Flourish. If the Virtuoso hits his W ability after dealing damage, he can root the enemy champion. Jhin’s hitbox is also pretty small compared to the other choices, which makes him hard to target.

Ashe

Another champion you can consider using in ARAM is Ashe. Although her lane phase strength is useless on this map, her “Volley” ability is definitely frustrating. The frost archer also can make visible the enemy champions hiding in bushes. Ashe has a giant arrow named “Enchanted Crystal” that can go across the entire map, and if this trouble maker hits you, your champions will be stunned for up to 3.5 seconds, depending on the time the arrow spends in the air. Her skill set is designed for skirmishes in strict areas, and that’s why Ashe is suitable for ARAM.

Cailtyn

Caitlyn is one of the League champions that has the highest range. Her basic attacks have an incredible range, which allows Caitlyn to deal all her damage from afar. Yordle Snap Trap could be effective in ARAM, where players have limited space to move. If you catch up with an enemy with your trap, your passive skill, which grants you bonus damage, activates automatically. Her “Ace in the Hole” ability also deals noticeable damage from out of the screen. You can use her ultimate to slay the fleeing enemy with low health.

Jinx

Most League players like playing with Jinx, but they complain that the champion is not mobile. Here is an opportunity for those who want to spend time with this maniac.

Jinx can enhance her basic attack range with her Q’s rocket form. Rockets also deal area damage, which makes them efficient in team fights. Jinx also can poke the enemy champions with Zapper. On the flip side, her key ability is Super Mega Death Rocket. This giant rocket can go across the entire map and deals more damage as it travels. The rocket also deals damage to nearby champions when it collides with the enemy.
