Assassin’s Creed Ezio Trilogy Headed to Nintendo Switch

In a press release, Ubisoft announced Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection will launch on the Nintendo Switch on February 17.

The collection will include three Assassin’s Creed titles: Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed Revelations. It will also include the Assassin’s Creed Lineage and Assassin’s Creed Embers short films.

The Ezio Collection will arrive in digital and physical versions for $39.99. Keep in mind the physical version only has Assassin’s Creed II on the cartridge. You will have to download everything else.

The Nintendo Switch version will include some exclusive tweaks. These will include HD Rumble support, an optimized HUD, and the ability to use the touchscreen.

However, multiplayer for Brotherhood and Revelations will not be present.

With this release, the only mainline Assassin’s Creed titles missing on the Nintendo Switch are the original and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

The Ezio Collection first launched in 2016 on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. All three titles in the trilogy star Ezio Auditor da Firenze and start when he is a teenager.

Eventually, Ezio finds out his family were members of the Assassin Brotherhood and trains up to become an Assassin.
