How to Download Valorant

Valorant has grown to become one of the most popular games in recent memory. Since its beta release in 2020, the game has amassed over 14 million monthly players, making it one of the most successful FPS titles ever.

That is on top of the fact that Valorant was created by Riot Games, the famous developers responsible for making League of Legends, Wild Rift, Teamfight Tactics, and Legends of Runeterra.

With all the excitement surrounding the FPS title, it’s no surprise more people are trying it out for their own enjoyment by the second. Here’s how to download Valorant on your PC.

To begin your Valorant download, visit the official Riot Games website. Once on the website, click on the ‘Play Now’ button in the top right to begin setting up the game client.

You will then encounter a pop-up window which asks if you have a Riot Games account. Keep in mind you need a Riot account to play the game, so if you haven’t created one, make sure you do that first. If you already have an account created, sign in to download the client.

Once signed-in, click on ‘Download’ to download the game client and begin the installation process.

After successfully downloading the client, click on the setup file (.exe) to install Valorant on your computer. When the installation is complete, double-click on the Valorant icon that is on your desktop to enter the game.

At the sign in screen, input your Riot account information to enter the game’s client to continue the installation.

From here, it’s worth mentioning that you will have to restart your computer after installation to be able to launch the game. This is because of Riot’s Vanguard anti-cheat program that is embedded within the client.

Once you’ve finished installing and have restarted your computer, Valorant will be ready to play. Time to boot up and reach the rank your heart desires.
