The long-awaited sequel to the decade-old hit Super Meat Boy is going to be released on the Xbox One & Series X/S as well as the Playstation 4 & 5 on the 16th April 2021. This follows from its debut release in December on the Epic Games Store and the Nintendo Switch.
Super Meat Boy is back, juicer and beefier than ever in a sequel that propels the Meat Boy story, as Meat Boy and his companion in life Bandage Girl have a child called Nugget, who has been kidnaped by the story’s main antagonist, the menacing psychopath, Dr.Fetus.
In this new installment you can play through the story as many times as you like, and why not? What is better than replaying the same game, over and over again? Well, let me tell you.
Every new game is different as the levels are generated randomly and once a game is completed, you have the option to relive it all over again but in a completely different experience. This is all thanks to the thousands of levels available for you to enjoy, master and cover the walls with your meaty juices.
Now, some of you keen Super Meat Boy fans will notice that something will have changed to our favourite protagonist. He is bigger, stronger and more agile than ever before and even packs a humongous “Battletoads-esque” right hook.
So what are we waiting for? If you are a fan of the Super Meat Boy Series then this is a no-brainer. If you have never played Super Meat Boy before then welcome to the enjoyable, most satisfying but challenging platform game you will find and for a price of only £15.99 / €15.99 / $19.99. It is a steal for such a thrilling game.
