Chinese tech giant Huawei is set to reveal its latest flagship smartphones at a special event that will take place later this month in Paris. The manufacturer didn’t want to give away too much about the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro until now, but as it’s often the case with these types of things, the full list of specs leaked out anyway. The latest leak comes from German news outlet WinFuture and seems pretty reliable at first glance. That said, you should probably take all of this with a grain of salt for now just in case.
The P30 and P30 Pro at a Glance
According to the website, the Huawei P30 will be powered by
the Kirin 980 CPU, just as previous rumors have suggested. The smartphone will
feature a 6.1-inch Full HD OLED display, a 32 MP front-facing camera, and three
additional cameras on the back – 40 MP, 16 MP, and 8 MP. The specs sheet also
reveals that the Huawei P30 will come equipped with 6GB of RAM, a 3,650 mAh
battery, and 128 GB of internal storage.
Meanwhile, the P30 Pro is expected to offer a couple of noteworthy improvements
A Few More Features Worth Mentioning
Both the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro will run on the company’s Emotion UI 9.1 operating system, which is based on Android Pie. The two handsets will feature a USB Type-C port, in-display Fingerprint Scanner, NFC capabilities, Huawei’s SuperCharge fast charging technology, and an IP68 water and dust resistance rating. The leak also suggests that the Huawei P30 will include a 3.5 mm headphone jack while the P30 Pro will opt for an IR blaster instead.
As far as color options are concerned, they might not be identical for both models. A previous leak
