About Loureen Ayyoub

Loureen Ayyoub, a California native, has built a notable career in journalism and the arts. She holds a BA in Journalism & Intercultural Communications from Pepperdine University and an MA in International Relations from the University of San Francisco. Ayyoub’s experience includes working with ABC’s Good Morning America and CNN as a digital reporter. She has also served as an on-air reporter in Los Angeles and nationally for Spectrum News.

Career Highlights

During her tenure at Spectrum News, Ayyoub periodically anchored the weekend news and was a specials correspondent for the Emmy-winning arts and culture show, SoCal Scene. She created the series “We Are One,” focusing on stories that unite divided communities. Ayyoub’s expertise in arts, entertainment, culture, and community storytelling has been recognized, including a nomination by the LA Press Club’s National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Awards for her coverage of Betty White’s life and legacy.
