Blizzard’s executive producer, John Hight, just announced on the official World of Warcraft Twitter page that the Shadowlands pre-patch will launch on October 13th, which many players have been waiting for eagerly. The pre-patch brings with it a lot of the new features in preparation for Shadowlands. Level squish and new cosmetics for your character to name just a few!
Though, Hight also announced that Blizzard’s newest expansion, Shadowlands, will be released on a later date this year. Some players are bummed about the information, but there are a lot of players who welcome the news. Due to the fact that there have been a lot of problems during Beta testing, which had many long time players of the game worried about an October release.
The player base does not want another expansion to be rushed and to release with a lot of problems. Which is exactly what happened to the current expansion, Battle for Azeroth.
