You’re always likely to find good PC deals floating around if you know where to look. Steam is often a good place to start but Valve’s marketplace usually doesn’t offer particularly good discounts on newly released AAA titles like Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 or the upcoming Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Well, some third-party digital storefronts like CDKeys do.
The website currently has some pretty good deals on March’s two biggest hitters, however, the keys are locked to Europe so I’m afraid you’ll need to look somewhere else if you live in a different region. That said, there are a few great deals available worldwide for other big titles like Generation Zero and the Resident Evil 2 Remake so keep reading if you want to learn about those instead.
The Division 2
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 attempts to improve upon its predecessor in pretty much every way. The game is bigger, there’s more mission variety, a brand new setting, and much more. This time around, the action takes place in Washington DC and centers around a team of elite agents tasked with restoring the city to its former glory.
There has been some controversy lately regarding the storyline and whether or not The Division 2 is trying to make certain political statements, but that shouldn’t stop you from picking it up regardless of your political views. The gameplay is solid and definitely worth checking out.
CDKeys currently offers digital copies of The Division 2 at 24% off the recommended retail price. That comes in at €44.47 or your regional equivalent. As mentioned earlier, these keys only work for European users, though you don’t necessarily have to buy them using Euros.
If you’re looking for a little something extra to help get you started on the right foot, you may want to grab the bundle that includes The Division 2 alongside The Capitol Defender Pack DLC. The DLC only contains a shotgun and a hazmat outfit so it’s by no means a must-buy, but having those items from the get-go might come in handy. The bundle is available at 20%, which comes in at €47.19. Both the standard version and the bundle can only be activated via uPlay.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
From Software’s latest project, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, is an upcoming RPG that’s set to launch on March 22nd. The game shares plenty of similarities with Dark Souls and Bloodborne but focuses more on mobility and even includes a grappling hook to help keep things fast-paced.
The game takes place in an alternate version of 16th century Japan and tasks you with protecting the descendant of an ancient bloodline. Unlike the Soulsbourne games, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice offers a more easily digestible storyline. In classic From Software style, you can still expect to die repeatedly as you face difficult challenges and battle powerful enemies inspired by the Sengoku period.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is available at CDKeys for 18% off, or €48.39. Just like The Division 2, the keys are locked to Europe but in this case, you can activate the key on Steam. You can already pre-order the game from the site if you want to make sure they don’t run out of stock, but you’ll only get the key on Friday when the game officially launches. CDKeys will send you an email with the key once the game is playable so don’t worry about having to make a note of it or anything like that.
